who would actually buy this?

creepy as he seems, believe it or not in the victorian times pieces of pottery not unlike The Little Yellow Man were popular and even fashionable. this guy was in fact used as an ash tray and he would have been proudly displayed for all to see in a living room many many years ago

but now, smoking is not seen as a good or fashionable thing, especially with young people, so ash trays nowadays will certainly not be as expensive looking an artistic as this one, because smoking is no longer encouraged or seen as an 'art'. so perhaps this ash tray would not be suitable for such modern times

notice how there is a burn on the man where his heart would be,

ironic?

and however fashionable he would've been back in those days, would you really want to be left alone in a dark room with him?
